Yes, his educational background did seem to influence his work.  It&amp;#39;s easy to see how we have all been influenced by our education.   Thanks for sharing this.  I know so little of Hitchcock&amp;#39;s life before directing.  Can&amp;#39;t wait to read a little more as we go along.  Making connections in a person&amp;#39;s life gives real insight into the hows whys.
